Tracks in the Sand

First, let me quickly say that this is the final week of ADF 2015, and tonight is the final night of the Footprints program (8 pm, Reynolds Theater). This is the cool program for which ADF commissions interesting choreographers to make new dances using the ADF School’s advanced students, and it is almost always a standout in the season. This year’s includes two really wonderful pieces, so if you haven’t gone, consider checking it out. I will have much more to say about it–tomorrow.

Because, dear Readers (most of you gentle), The Star is having a big ole birthday, and is taking the day off to eat, drink and be merry, down on Highway 61 of this life’s crazy roads. Back to you on the flip side.

So many birthdays ago that those glasses are cool again. Kate Dobbs, Jo Dobbs, Jean Dobbs, Chapel Hill, NC, c. 1968.
